Stakeholders and rights holders mapping
Stakeholder and rights holders mapping is a collaborative process used to identify individuals, groups, or entities that have an interest in a heritage place. This process involves listing relevant stakeholders and rights holders, understanding their perspectives, level of representation and interests, and categorising them based on their relevance, positionality and interest in the project. The purpose of stakeholder mapping is to ensure that all stakeholders and rights holders are identified and both their perspectives and needs are highlighted, allowing for better decision-making and both effective and equitable management of potential conflicts or issues.
