Hear from Dr. Salma Sabour
These next few months are a busy time for the Preserving Legacies team! Our staff will be scattered around the world supporting and sharing the stories of our climate custodians as they lead their climate risk assessment and adaptation planning workshops. From Taiwan to Tunisia, these multi-day events are as unique as the communities they serve and are the culmination of months of planning and preparation work—hosting community focus groups, conversing with stakeholders, analyzing climate data, figuring out logistics, and more. Ultimately, the data discussed, the stories shared, and the futures imagined at these workshops will form the foundation of their locally-led climate risk assessment and adaptation plan, which they will then move into action!
