Haldain Spencer

Haldain Spencer is a Terrestrial Heritage professional, currently employed as an Environment Officer in the Natural Resource Management Department at the National Parks Authority. He is a hard-working and patriotic individual committed to improving the conservational and sustainable status of Antigua and Barbuda, his homeland. Haldain Spencer attained a degree in BSc in Biology and an MSc in Natural Resource and Environmental Management. He is resolute in his mission to use his knowledge and skills to enhance biodiversity conservation, ecosystem management and sustainable development. Haldain believes that biodiversity in the Caribbean is largely marginalized or misunderstood, and he has keen interest in preserving the cultural and traditional heritage in Antigua and Barbuda. His exposure to natural resource management within the UNESCO World Heritage Site has expanded his understanding of sustainable practices and improved his appreciation for adaptable and innovative methods.
